I'm currently listening to an excellent history of the CV6 by Drachinafel on You tube. The first 1/2 is a discussion concerning the history of the discussion behind designing the early US carriers - Sizes, attributes, size of force, weapons, size of flight group, etc. The entire discussion parallels the discussion and design of the Minotaur.
