The initial post refers to Congress. I agree oversight is lacking and both parties are playing more politics than doing their jobs. But by ignoring the the Administration's responsibility for direct oversight of the bureaucracies, it is implied that they are less at fault. I have an issue with that.

In the meantime, I wish to say thanks to the brave students who have made the unpopular decision to bring me to their campus to discuss controversial issues like campus censorship and elective abortion.

The politicians don't want to be held accountable, so they let the bureaucrats play. I truly wish the Supreme Court would take one of these laws and rule it unconstitutional on grounds that it violate the separation of powers principle enshrined in the constitution.
