The Bundy group, which occupied the Wildlife Refuge, does not remind of the Tea Party, which organized to win elections. Rather Bundy's group reminds me of Occupy Wall Street, which had nothing to do after moving in, except provoke scorn for their ineffectiveness! HTM, PHL |

An apt comparison IMHO. Nothing like failure to show ineffectiveness, and perhaps bring some to their senses. You need a much broader base for support. Bring weapons to a peaceful demonstration makes it no longer a peaceful demonstration. Listening to other points of view helps, most of these guys only listen to each other. Perhaps as our Australian friend on the thread I started said perhaps they will call for war and nobody comes further marginalizing them. Freedom of speech and decent is not license for destroying or damaging property of others, or other lawless acts.
