You know why its called "shipping," right? Its because canon sinks it.

If you knew that as well as I knew that, you'd have shed more tears than me by now. And you know how notorious a blubberer I am.

I just wish I knew how to stop shipping. :P

When I was around 7 or so mom told me that coffee stunts your growth. (I know right)
But it was because she didn't want us becoming addicted to caffeine.
Now I don't drink it because it frightens me.

I had a friend once whom was shocked to learn that I hadn't acquired a taste for it. He said to me "you have got to try Starbucks coffee. It's delicicious and I promise you it'll change your mind. How about we go now."

Upon arriving at this establishment where they peddle this horrible drink I began to peruse the menu. Pretty menu. So many flavors that appealed to the inner child in me. I was overwhelmed. So he suggested to me I try his favorite.
I did.
I consumed it with gusto. Oh my gosh, this stuff is delicious I said.
Momentarily, I just didn't feel too well. I began to shake, tremble, rattle and roll. My heart was palpitating. My legs grew restless. My eyes dilated and morphed into a zombie-like state. I didn't know whether to succumb to the sudden urge to haul ass outside and run around the building several times or to listen to the voice on the other shoulder and dial 911!
I was frightened to say the least. All the while this was going on, my friend was witnessing it. He kept asking," you ok, you ok." I couldn't speak. I was drugged. Now his eyes were dilated as well from fear he'd just poisoned his friend which affected me even more. My fear was driving his fear was driving mine.
Of course it is obvious that I was having a reaction to the high caffeine content in which most people whom do swig the stuff has built a tolerance for over the years.
Seriously though, Starbucks coffee has such a high caffeine content that I am unsure why people, instead of drinking it, not opt to just fill a syringe and mainline it!
And why does the DEA not raid Starbucks!!!
Everytime I go to the mall I expect a team to come storming in weapons drawn shooting tear gas canisters ordering everyone to the ground!
No, seriously!

And energy drinks.
Little wonder to me that people are dying from them!

Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense

Anyone else afraid of Mesa getting their hands on a treecat?

The only way I can drink coffee is iced, with lots of cream and sugar. How it's meant to be served. Tasting nothing like coffee.

The Mesans did get their hands on a treecat sometime in the past, but it died.

As for me, the only way I'll ever consume coffee is if it's crisp.

If you want to follow my coffee recipe:

Use a french press and a stove top tea kettle. Make sure that the press is about 10 feet from the stove so the water will cool in transit to the perfect temperature. Heat the water to a boil, then pour a cup and a half over the tablespoon full of loose tea leaves in the french press. Let steep, and ignore anyone who tries to tell you that coffee tastes good. Pour in to a heated mug, add a drip of honey, and drink.

You do when it's $50 a pound. And the best damn $50 I've ever spent. Normally I drink my coffee (Maxwell House) with plenty of flavored creamer, but with JBM you only need a teaspoon of sugar and a splash of regular cream. Seriously, there's no bitterness at all. It's like the difference between the crap tea you get in those bags and what you get at Teavana (I'm sure they're not the best tea you can get, but it's the only parallel I can draw).

That's hilarious. Hate to tell you this, but your friend led you astray. Excepting the limited runs like their Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, which still isn't the best example of the type, they use mass produced arabica and roast it to about the level of coal. It completely ruins the flavor. Not only that, but the more you roast coffee, the lesser the caffiene content. You're probably wise to stay away from coffee, if you had that kind of reaction.
