Along with the green station is 30 White Stars and an Excalibur class Destroyer. The White Stars, which use entirely differnt technology, can micro-jump around inside a stars hyper-limit. Effectivly they can aqiure tactical data, jump within their own range of any target and deliver devistating follies against said targets before micro-jumping away before the target can respond or before any missile weapon from the target can get to them. The fusion Human-Mimbari sensors make the Ghost and Lenny Dets look they are riding around painted International Orange, broadcasting carnival music on every communications channel and are towing signs that say "Shoot me here"

Are you sure that's the sensors that see the Ghosts and Denny Dets so well and not just their location getting pointed out by various Telepaths who signed aboard to stay clear of the Psi Corps?

Its the sensors. The telepaths would have to expain "where" and other things to the tactical people who are then gong to have to effectivly guess where the targets actually are and what the direction & speeds are.
