Our Founding Fathers did consider treason, carefully.
They considered that they might have been punished
for it, had the war gone the other way.

Our laws favor the accused, not the accusers,
because O.F.F. thought of themselves as possible
defendants, not as prosecutors.

Which is why your own ancestors, and their community,
were able to teach you what you've told us about, O C,
without risking being thrown into slave labor camps!

Just me here but I believe this is the fatal flaw of our USA Constitutional Republic. There is no teeth in the thing. No specific language defining high treason and the repercussions for such. Our founding fathers did not consider such.
