And from my standpoint, if someone lay their hand on someone else to seduce them without consent they are guilty of sexual assault. There is NO EXCUSE for that behavior, NONE! It doesn't matter if it was clumsy or done under the influence of alcohol.

The description of events keeps morphing to appear more criminal.

The timing of the accusations going public was cynically manipulated to maximize political and procedural benefit. Only Ford, Fienstein or her staff could have leaked.

The above considerations undermine the CREDIBILITY of the accusations. Sorry if I am I credulous of testimony from people who have an obvious political motive to lie.

As to middle eastern rapes in Sweden a quick Google shows that the definition of rape changed so naturally the count went up, and while a percentage of offenders were from the middle east, it wasn't a major factor.

We have all kinds of contradictory claims about the rape rate in Sweden. If the charges against Kavenaugh are credible, then not all rapes or sexual assaults are reported so the statistics are not neccessarily an accurate reflection of reality.

I suggest that we allow the voters of Sweden to decide. Rape is becoking a major issue in the election.

I am astonished that anyone would cite Wikipedia as an AUTHORATIVE SOURCE on CONTENSIOUS ISSUES. Anyone can edit a Wikipedia article. The editors at Wikipedia just like the search engine programmers snd the censors at Fadebook have an extremely well documented history of bias. I have copies of contemporaneous books and magazine articles that document the allegations. That Wikipedia article has been edited into a whitewash.

In this instance, the accuser is making accusations based on recovered memories. Her recollections of the exact details of what may or may not have happened which can delieniate between a consensual verses coerced groping or attempted rape are subject to suggestion as well as the identity of the alleged perpetrator.


At least with Anita Hill, she claimed that the memories of Judge Thomas' vulgar remarks and behavior were never suppressed. She just kept following him from one job to another so that the behavior could continue.

I might ask you and everyone who is blathering on this forum if they have ever started to make out with a woman only to have them decide to cease. Then ask you if that was a sexual assault.
