I got a wild hair and thought I'd do a Google search on book 4. Got a hit from Rising Shadow book.net (don't know what it is) They have it as coming out in 2025. No month listed. I'm also unsure where they got that info. But it's encouraging.
However, I keep track of series that I'm interested in and the publishing dates. OotD was one of them and leaving aside the gap between the first solo book, (quite long) and book 2 the spacing between book 2 and 3 with Chris Kennedy doesn't line up with a 2025 release.(Too short) So not as encouraging. Although it could be that Kennedy has hit his stride after book 3. Either way, it seems that there WILL be a book 4 sometime this year at the earliest and if not hopefully in 2026. Good news for the optimists.
